Hi! I bought a nasicus male in May 2011 as "green". He was my first hognose, his color was different from the normal morph, so I supposed he was green indeed. The pic when he was little:  Actual pics:     In Terraristika Hamm, sept 2011, I bought a baby green female. When I saw her I thought she was lighter than my male, but she was very nice looking, so I bought her. She wasn't only green, the salesman told me she was "green 66% poss DH toffeebelly / albino". She has grown up incredibly (65 cm), but she looks different from the male. The spots, the base color ...    What do you think of them? Are they green? Are there different shades of green? What will be the offspring like if I breed them together? Thanks a lot! Elena Continue

Southern Hognose here in Florida 3 Replies

I notice that most of you guys in here have Westerns so I don't want to step on toes...Any of you guys into Southern Hognose?  I grew up finding them around where I lived..and always at random when driving to and from my parents house.  Fast Forward 20 + years after college etc etc and they aren't as common to find any more.  I have a nice collection of red phase southern hognose and will hopefully breed a pair this year or next.Continue
